Friday is Go Red for Women Day.
The American Heart Association is encouraging people to wear red to support education and awareness about women and heart health.
February is American Heart Month and experts say heart disease is the number one killer of women in the United States.
In addition to wearing red, women are encouraged to talk about heart health as well as make a commitment to get active, eat healthy, and monitor blood pressure.
