Thursday’s deadline for the Pennsylvania legislature and governor to submit replacements for the congressional district map has passed.
If one of several options offered the state Supreme Court is not chosen, the court will produce a map themselves.
Pennsylvania’s congressional map is widely viewed as among the nation’s most gerrymandered- meaning its drawn to specifically benefit one political party over another.
Butler County is entirely located in the 3rd Congressional District, currently represented by Mike Kelly of Butler.
