The President is weighing in on the new congressional district map released Monday by the state Supreme Court.
President Donald Trump tweeted Tuesday morning urging Republicans to challenge what he called a “pushed” map all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, if necessary. In the tweet, he said the “original” map was correct and urged Republican leaders not to “let the Dems take elections away from you so that they can raise taxes and waste money.”
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court threw out the previous map, drawn by Republicans after ruling that it was gerrymandered. A redrawn map with new boundaries was handed down Monday.
