University of Pittsburgh researchers say it’s all due to the start of Daylight Saving Time. They say the body could take up to eight weeks to adjust to the new schedule.
Past research has found heart attacks and car accidents are more common after the start of Daylight Saving Time, and that test scores are lower.
To help with the adjustment, Pitt researcher Brant Hasler suggests walks outside in the morning light to help the brain adjust to the new schedule.
