The next phase of construction on the Parkway North is underway.
There are lane closures in place in both directions between the Perrysville Avenue and Camp Horne Road exits on Interstate 279 in Allegheny County to accommodate paving, bridge rehab and sign upgrades.
The majority of the work will not be done during rush hour but there still could be delays. Inbound traffic will be down to one lane weekdays from 10am to 2pm and again from 7pm to 6am. Outbound traffic will be down to one lane weekdays from 9am to 2pm.
This work is all part of an $87 million rehab project to I-279, which is a popular way into Pittsburgh for many Butler County residents.
