It’s graduation time, which means many young adults are looking for jobs.
A new study from finance website WalletHub suggests Pennsylvania is one of the worst states to find one.
WalletHub looked at 29 indicators of job-market strength, opportunity and economic vitality and ranked the Commonwealth 46th out of 50 on its Best & Worst States For Jobs list.
Washington state ranked 1st, followed by Colorado and Minnesota. The worst state was West Virginia.
Texas had the highest monthly average starting salary at more than $3,000 per month. Hawaii had the lowest unemployment rate at 2.4 percent.
