Registrations are still being accepted for a series of workshops designed to help local non-profits.
The Alliance For Nonprofit Resources in downtown Butler is hosting a “Nonprofit Bootcamp” on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Slippery Rock University.
“We tried to make it fun but yet, it’s educational and informational to really try to give a lot of information to nonprofits in a really quick format that they can take away and use,” Roxanne Tyger, will the Alliance for Nonprofit Resources, said.
Those attending will hear from keynote speaker and nonprofit expert advisor Kate Dewey, who is the former president of the Forbes Funds in Pittsburgh. The rest of the day will include a variety of different workshops as well as networking and prizes.
“Then we will go into breakout sessions,” ANR communications specialist Heather Cherry said. “They are short, condensed, quick-fire workshops. We have workshops on grant writing, fundraising, marketing, communications, storytelling…just a variety of things.”
Breakfast, lunch and all materials are included with the cost of $50 per-person with a $5 discount per-person for each additional attendee from the same agency.
Registration to participate in this event will be accepted online here through Wednesday.
