More people are moving into Pennsylvania, than out of it, according to a study.
Suburban moving company United Van Lines released its 42nd annual National Movers Study this week, which tracks customers’ state-to-state migration patterns.
Pennsylvania had slightly more inbound movers- 52.1 percent- than outbound- 47.9 percent. According to the study, a majority of inbound movers were coming to the state for job-related reasons.
The study found the opposite was true for Ohio. More people were moving out of the state (56.5 percent) than coming in (43.5 percent).
The states that saw the highest percentage of inbound moves in 2018 were Vermont, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada and Arizona.
