The National Weather Service is now saying two tornadoes touched down in our area on Tuesday.
An EF-1 tornado has been confirmed new New Lebanon in Mercer County. Maximum wind gusts of 95 miles per hour were estimated. This marks the sixth Pennsylvania tornado recorded in the month of January since 1950.
The EF-1 tornado also moved through Trumbull County in eastern Ohio about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with speeds up to 100 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service.
