Firefighters from three counties- including Butler- helped battle a blaze in Lawrence County on Wednesday evening.
The Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Team were among the stations dispatched about 6 p.m. for a reported garage fire on Plain Grove Road in Plain Grove Township.
Before Slippery Rock firefighters arrived, the fire had extended into the nearby residence.
No one was hurt and crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire in the home. More than 10 fire departments were on scene.
It’s unclear what started the fire.
