The water woes should soon be over for the 900 residential and business customers of the Evans City Water & Sewer Authority.
All customers remain under a Boil Water Advisory as officials wait for the second round of water tests to come back. Officials now saying results are expected to be back on Saturday, Feb. 9. If the results come back clean, the advisory will be lifted.
Customers have been under a Boil Water Advisory since Monday following a pair of water main breaks that decreased pressure.
All water for consumption and cooking should be boiled for a minimum of one minute prior to use. A water buffalo continues to be available near the President Square apartments on Jefferson Street for residents needing fresh drinking water.
