The public is invited to take a unique look back to the time of the Civil War at a free event on Tuesday.
A Photographic History of PA in the Civil War will be presented beginning at 7 p.m. in the Butler YWCA on West Cunningham Street in the city of Butler.
Ellwood City-native Ken Turner will screen a slideshow based on his book, which features hundreds of images from private collections which show the important role Pennsylvania played in the conflict.
This event is sponsored by the Butler County Civil War Roundtable.
