State Police are investigating after a dog was shot in the stomach Sunday in Concord Township.
The incident happened in the area of Hooker Road, according to a trooper.
The dog’s owner reportedly found the dog underneath her car after he broke free from his tether and ran away.
The German Shepherd Husky mix died at a vet’s office on Monday.
The investigation continues.
