There are still about 75 residents in Butler County that don’t have power following high winds on Sunday that initially knocked out service to thousands.
As of Thursday morning, West Penn is reporting the lingering outages in 18 municipalities- many areas have less than five customers without service.
Crews continue to work around the clock to get these residents back on the grid.
Restoration times range from late tonight – to tomorrow afternoon- to some areas not expected to get power back until Saturday night.
Initially, more than 7,000 West Penn and Central Electric Cooperative customers were in the dark.
Central Electric had restored power to all of its Butler County customers as of early Wednesday.
