Firefighters were called back out to an already fire-ravaged home Thursday morning for smoldering after a big blaze basically destroyed the property on Wednesday.
Firefighters were initially called to a trailer on Fawn Drive (in the Woodlands neighborhood of Connoquenessing Township) about 6 p.m.
Connoquenessing Township Fire Chief Lou Zimmerman said there were two people home when the fire started, but they were able to get out OK. The Red Cross is assisting them.
Several fire departments responded to fight the blaze and the last was on scene for two hours.
“There’s not much left,” Zimmerman said Thursday.
An investigation to determine what caused the fire is continuing.
