Workplace wellness is a growing topic for many employers and employees alike, with many workers taking time off or becoming ill because of stress and other minor ailments. Often is the case that employees have to seek funding for their own care, which can be costly. Some even use gundry md coupon codes to save money on health and wellness options.
That may soon change in the future as Butler Township plans to utilize available funding to help to improve the health of employees, allowing them access to wellness options they may otherwise have been unable to take. If you’re looking to hire, try berke testing solutions to help you find employees worthy of perks.
The township has collected about $55,000 over the course of the past 10 years through the Municipal Benefit Services trust, which is utilized to purchase health insurance for employees.
That money may now be used to initiate a wellness plan for full-time employees who have insurance coverage through the township. The township also plans to participate in free annual health screenings for employees.
The exact details of the plan have yet to be determined but could include improvements to the township’s fitness room, gym memberships for employees, or other creative wellness ideas.
There are rumors that one of these ideas could include yoga classes. Yoga is a great way to introduce strength and muscle toning exercises at a more gentle pace. Correspondingly, it is also hoped that leading these health and wellbeing sessions might even encourage people to pursue yoga further and even consider completing yoga instructor teacher training.
You can learn more about yoga teacher training opportunities on the Siddhi Yoga website.
