Another week means another increase in gas prices.
The average price for a gallon of regular, unleaded, self-serve gas in Butler jumped 14 cents since last week- now sitting at $2.99.
Many communities in western Pennsylvania are seeing prices above $3 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.
Last year at this time, we were basically in the same boat- with prices averaging $2.92 per gallon.
Late last week, AAA analysts said they didn’t expect an immediate drop in gas prices and offered tips to save money- including consolidating errands and using the most fuel-efficient vehicle if your family has more than one car.
