A virtual Kentucky Derby that will race all 13 Triple Crown winners against each other will be held Saturday, the day this year’s Derby was to be held before being postponed to September 5th because of the pandemic. Secretariat, who won the Triple Crown in 1973, is the early favorite for the race, which will use computer-generated imagery of the horses running the track at Churchill Downs. It will be shown on NBC as part of three hours of coverage. The Triple Crown winners, in addition to Secretariat, are Citation, Seattle Slew, Affirmed, Assault, Sir Barton, American Pharoah, Gallant Fox, War Admiral, Whirlaway, Count Fleet, Justify and Omaha.
