Gas prices in western Pennsylvania have increased slightly.
According to AAA’s weekly gas price report, prices for a gallon of regular, unleaded, self-serve in the region are up by about a penny this week over last.
In Butler County, we’re seeing an average price of $2.28 per gallon.
The cheapest gas in our region can be found in New Castle at $2.26, while motorists in Warren are paying the most at $2.63.
Nationally, AAA says gas prices are expected to remain steady over the upcoming week due to high stocks of gasoline reserves, as well as colder-than-normal weather in the forecast for much of the Midwest and East Coast.
