Gas prices in western Pennsylvania continue to drop.
According to AAA’s weekly gas price report, prices for a gallon of regular, unleaded, self-serve in the region is down nearly six cents this week over last.
In Butler County, we’re seeing an average price of $2.40 per gallon.
The cheapest gas in our region can be found in New Castle at $2.23 while motorists in Warren are paying the most at $2.65.
Nationally, AAA says an average price of $2.25 is the least expensive gas has been at the beginning of a New Year since 2016 and drivers in 29 states are paying less than that average.
