A crash last week in Butler Township has resulted in charges for a local man.
According to police, 21-year-old Zachery Shields of Butler drove a Volkswagen Beetle onto the Lassinger gas well access Road off of Bullcreek Road just after 3 p.m. on Friday.
Shields allegedly lost control while traveling around a curve on the gravel road and struck a hillside. His vehicle rolled over and he sustained a minor injury. He refused medical treatment.
Shields has been charged with driving without a license as well as trespass by motor vehicle.
