With Thanksgiving just hours away, Butler County Community College is giving thanks for many long-time and impactful employees who are planning to retire.
Among them are, 73-year-old Natalie Kitzko of Butler who officially ended over 52 years with the BC3 Records and Registration Office earlier this month. After attending some of the first ever classes offered by BC3 in 1966 and graduating in 1968, Kitzko began work at BC3 as a secretary. She is the second-longest serving employee in the history of BC3.
Another retiring BC3 employee is associate director of the Butler County Community College Education Foundation Michelle Jamieson. After graduating from BC3 in 1984, Jamieson was hired by BC3 in 2004. She has achieved large increases in the number of named scholarships as well as annual scholarship payout and the scholarship endowment fund.
Another BC3 employee taking advantage of the early retirement options the college has made available to eligible employees is director of the BC3 Cultural Center Larry Stock.
