The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office is reminding residents to be aware of scammers.
National Consumer Protection Week continues through tomorrow and Michelle Henry says her staff is actively trying to stop scams.
The state’s Bureau of Consumer Protection saved residents more than $24 million last year and is continuing efforts this year by sharing tips on consumer protection, tenant rights, purchasing a used car, and health care.
Anyone who believes they may have been a victim of a scam can file a complaint with the bureau online, by email, or by phone.
