As the Student Health Center opened in a new location at Slippery Rock University yesterday, it will also coincide with a new healthcare provider on campus.
The university partnered with Allegheny Health Network to provide care at their on-campus health center—which is now in the newly renovated Campus Success Center.
The center is open six days a week, from 9-7 p.m. on weekdays and from noon to 5 p.m. on weekends.
Officials say if more urgent or advanced care is needed, AHN also operates Grove City Hospital which is nearby.
