Local residents will be able to enjoy another fireworks display this summer as a result of an agreement finalized by the Butler Township Commissioners.
A fireworks agreement with Butler County was approved Monday night to allow for the display at Alameda Park at dusk of Community Day on July 2nd.
Several local sponsors including PA American Water have committed to cover the $12,500 cost of a Pyrotecnico display set off from the back of Alameda Park.
Butler County Parks and Recreation employees will handle the cleanup from the fireworks.
