The public is invited to participate in an art activity later this week.
The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will host a Paint Your Pet class on Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Parks Building at Alameda Park.
The cost of the class is $25 and includes an 8 by 8 canvas and all the supplies required. Those who would like a bigger canvas can provide their own.
Participants of all skill levels should bring a physical picture of the pet in order to learn how to copy that picture as a painting.
