Kids and families are invited to get into the Halloween spirit at an event this weekend at Alameda Park in Butler Township.
The Alameda Park Haunted Trails will kick off Friday from 7 to 10 p.m. starting at the Masonic Shelter and continue Saturday at the same time.
The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will direct trail leads to take a new group through the spooky course every 10 minutes. Participants are encouraged to avoid bringing wagons and strollers onto the trails as they could get stuck.
Admission is $5 per person. Children younger than 5 years old should not attend this event. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Prayers Answered Charity Tournament, or P.A.C.T.
