Alameda Park is continuing a series of weekly events throughout the summer.
Alameda Waterpark School Daze allows for students wearing a school logo or presenting school ID from private or home to get 50% off admission Monday, August 7th.
Monday’s Movie in the Park is Angry Birds and also the last one of the season. This free family event begins at 8:30 p.m. in the Masonic Shelter. Those attending are invited to bring a comfortable chair and enjoy free popcorn.
The Free Family Summer Concert Series is scheduled for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. with the Kittanning Community Band at the Odd Fellows Gazebo.
Thursday the Free Outdoor Discovery Series begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Carousel Shelter with the presentation Venomous Snakes given by DCNR Rangers of Moraine State Park.
Alameda Story Adventures is free weekly storytelling for kids ages six and younger. The final event of this summer will take place Thursday from 11:30 to noon at the Rotary Shelter. No registration required.
