Alameda Waterpark will be opening for the season this weekend.
County officials say they are still short on lifeguards for the season, but are working on a schedule to make sure they have sufficient coverage for the summer.
The pool didn’t open on time this year due to a lifeguard shortage.
The county is still looking for more help this summer at the pool. Starting wages range from $10-$12 per hour along with other incentives like a family pool pass, certification fees, and more.
