Albert Taylor Stultz, 87, of Butler, Pennsylvania died peacefully in his home on December 3, 2023 surrounded by friends and family.
He was born in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania on May 9, 1936 to William W. and Elsie Elizabeth (Taylor) Stultz. He was the fourth of five children. Albert attended Espe Elementary School and Perry High School. At age 18, he bought a tractor trailer and drove for Moore Fletcher for a few years. He then opened the North Hills Auto Parts store in Wexford with partner Dave McClelland. After his partner’s death, Albert ran the business for many years.
He married Mary Jean Hunter in 1958. They had two sons, Perry Robert Stultz and Albert Taylor Stultz. He was later married to Gloria Weinel Richwalls.
Albert was also involved in The North Hills Masonic Lodge # 716 and Jester’s Court # 2, where he was proud to be a long-time member.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, James and Robert, his sister Jean, and his son Perry Robert Stultz. He is survived by his son Bert Stultz, and Bert’s wife Kathy, four grandchildren, Taylor, Hayley, Hunter, and Thomas. He is also survived by his sister Ann and husband Robert of Connecticut, along with beloved nieces and nephews. Albert was a magnet for people and had legions of friends who will mourn his passing.
Albert’s life will be celebrated at a date to be determined.
