Alice Maksanty, 68, of Butler passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025. She was born in Butler on June 1, 1956, to the late Glenn and Elizabeth “Betty” (Stock) Smith. Alice graduated from Butler High School in 1975. She loved to go out and play darts and watch Penguin and Steeler games. Alice was the beloved wife of Jimmy Maksanty, whom she was with for 18 years and since their marriage on August 12, 2023; mother of Mark Smith; sister of Mary Lee, Liz and Buddy (Marie); grandmother to 1.
