In the South Butler School District, seven candidates were running for five open seats in Tuesday’s primary election.
All the candidates cross-filed on both the Republican and Democratic tickets, and the top five vote-getters will appear on each ballot in November.
Appearing on the Democratic ballot in the fall will be incumbent Andrew Adams, Debra Miller, Tim Danehy, Donna Eakin and Dale Fennell.
Miller was also the top vote-getter on the Republican side. Also appearing on the Republican ticket in November are William Gebhart, Fennell, Eakin and David McRandal.
