A man from McKees Rocks is in jail after allegedly waving around a semi-automatic handgun inside a Butler home and threatening to kill a woman.
Butler City Police were called to the Greenview Gardens Apartments about 9 a.m. Wednesday for a disturbance.
Officers found 22-year-old Luke Erath standing at the top of a set of stairs. He was in possession of a loaded, semi-automatic handgun.
The victim told police Erath was threatening her stating: “I’m going to kill you, just ask my ex about it.”
Police say Erath does not possess a permit to carry a weapon, and he is a convicted felon.
No one was hurt.
