Almirola and Dillon take Daytona Dual races

The Nascar season-opening Daytona 500 will be run on Sunday. Hear the race beginning at 1:30pm on WBUT 1050am, the New 97.3fm and online at wbut.com. Alex Bowman will lead the field to the green flag. Denny Hamlin is the defending race-winner.
Last night at Daytona – Aric Almirola and Austin Dillon won the Dual races that determine the final 40-car field. Almirola won the opening Dual race by holding off Joey Logano. Dillon held off Bubba Wallace in overtime to win the second race, which was delayed because of rain, and didn’t end until very early this morning.
