Alphonse Robert Peciulis, age 82, of Butler, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024, at Allegheny General Hospital.
Born in Lithuania on Feb. 18, 1942, he was the son of the late Edward and Veronica Shaltonis Peciulis.
He worked in the Melt Shop at Butler Armco and retired in 2000.
He was a member of Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Cabot.
Al enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, camping, gardening and bowling, but most of all he loved hanging out with family and friends.
He was a member of Elks Lodge #170 and the Esquire Club.
He is survived by his daughters, Victoria Corl and her husband, Stephen, of Butler, and Lori Cooper and her husband, Shawn, of Sarver; one grandson, Noah Cooper; one sister, Donna Yevonishon and her husband, Joe, of Falls Church, Va.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Lee Kale Peciulis, who passed away Dec. 16, 2022.
Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler, on Sunday, April 21, from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 22, at 10 a.m. at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 315 Stoney Hollow Rd., Cabot, with Rev. Ward Stakem, OFM Cap., officiating. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church.
Burial will take place in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Herman.
