Pittsburgh is among 20 cities still in the running to host Amazon’s second headquarters.
The retail giant plans to invest $5 billion in the new project- the winning city stands to gain as many as 50,000 new jobs over an up to 17-year build out. However, there also could be some downfalls. The cost of housing in Seattle, where Amazon’s first headquarters is, has severely increased. There are also traffic problems.
A financial decision is expected later this year.
