Several local young people have been accepted into a national organization.
The American Angus Association recently welcomed Kallie Simmons of Butler, Alyssa Simmons of Butler, and Chase Shuler of Fenelton as Junior Members.
Junior Members are able to register cattle, participate in programs, and take part in shows and regional events sponsored by the Association.
The American Angus Association is the largest beef breed organization in the world with more than 22,000 active adult and junior members.
