A resident of Butler Township is warning others about a bear sighting.
The bear was spotted near a home by Saw Mill Run Park.
The homeowner described it as a large bear, estimating it over 500 pounds and six feet tall on its hind legs.
The Game Commission reminds residents to put away bird feeders, food, and make sure garbage is not out in the open.
They are also asking to keep pets in a safe place.
