This week is expected to be mostly cold and dry, but there is the potential for a winter storm this weekend.
Forecasters with the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh say it’s still too early to discuss snow totals, and the forecast could change. But, if the storm this weekend tracks towards our area, it wouldn’t be out of the question for several inches of snow to fall.
The NWS says any winter storm watches or warnings won’t be issued until Thursday at the earliest.
As for the rest of the week, Monday and Tuesday are expected to be dry days with temperatures in the low 30s. There is a chance for light snow showers early Wednesday, and again on Thursday afternoon. Temperatures will struggle to get out of the 30s all week.
