The annual furry convention returns to Pittsburgh this weekend.
It’s known as “Anthrocon” and it’s an annual event for fans of fictional animal characters in art. Many of its attendees dress up in costume throughout the entire weekend.
The event moved to the Pittsburgh area in 2006 and now brings in close to 10,000 visitors each year.
Tourism officials estimate that it also contributes $15 million to the local economy.
