Students from local school districts are invited to participate in a program organized by the Pittsburgh office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
FBI Pittsburgh is now accepting applications for their 2021 Teen Academy for local high school seniors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Space is limited and acceptance is not guaranteed.
Students will have the chance to explore the world of law enforcement, build leadership skills, and learn how to become positive community role models. Classes will focus on topics such as online communication and FBI application requirements while hands-on experiences include responsibilities of the FBI’s SWAT and Evidence Response Teams.
Nearly 50 students from more than two dozen schools took part in this activity the last time it was held in 2019. Students will be selected based on a written essay and information included with the application. Visit the website of the FBI for more information.
