A man from Phoenix, Arizona is now facing gun and drug charges following his arrest in Butler County earlier this year.
26-year-old Juan Paredes was indicted on two charges by a federal grand jury yesterday for possession with intent to deliver, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
According to the Department of Justice, a package containing over two pounds of crystal meth was shipped to a home in Cranberry Township in late January. Police seized the drugs and replaced it with a lookalike that was sprayed with a fluorescent powder.
Parades allegedly took the package into the home and when police investigated, they found Parades had powder on his hands and face after being inspected with an ultraviolet light.
He faces 10 years to life in prison and a fine up to $10 million.
