The Armco Credit Union is awarding $26,000 in scholarships to high school seniors.
28 students were named recipients of the scholarships, which are going to seniors who are planning to attend either college or a vocational school.
20 students were awarded a $1,000 scholarship based on academic, leadership and extracurricular achievement and then 8 more were awarded $750 each in honor of the Armco CU 90th anniversary.
This is the 8th year the credit union offered the scholarship program.
