The driver who was behind the wheel whenever a Worthington woman was killed in Pittsburgh late last year is now facing a list of charges.
Our news partners at WPXI report that 35-year-old Matthew Carlson of Spring Church is being charged with homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, involuntary manslaughter, and more.
The crash happened back on December 17th on the McKees Rocks Bridge. The head-on collision killed 38-year-old Kendra Fennell of Worthington and seriously injured another person, who were all passengers in Carlson’s car.
Police say Carlson had drugs in his system at the time of the accident, including cocaine and fentanyl.
