Arthur “Artie” Daniel Marbell, Jr., age 73 of Prospect, passed away Saturday morning, February 18, 2023 while at the inpatient hospice in the VA Butler Healthcare Community Living Center.
“When they lay me down someday My soul will rise, then fly away. This old world will turn around, I’ll be at peace when they lay me down.”
Born October 25, 1949 in Butler; he was the son of the late Arthur D. and Clara Attenberg Marbell, Sr.
He was a US Army Veteran who faithfully served active duty and reserves from 1974 to 1980.
Through out his life, he was a general laborer and worked various jobs, and was also a truck driver for a few years.
Artie enjoyed tinkering in his garage, building wood projects, and fishing. He loved his animal pets.
He is survived by his wife Lorinda E. Dinger Wise Marbell; his daughter Shelly (Steven) Wilson of East Brady; three grandchildren Landon, Leah, and Alex; sister Eileen Roxbury of Prospect, and a niece and nephew.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Mindy Marbell.
Cremation services were entrusted to Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, pc., 387 Main Street, Prospect.
