Arthur E. “Deno” Scisciani, Jr., 75, of Valencia, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 29, 2018 at his residence .
He was born September 10, 1942 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Arthur Scisciani, Sr. and the late Betty Marie Chapman Scisciani.
Deno worked as a refuse driver for the City of Pittsburgh for 38 years before retiring in December 2004. He was a member of the West View Gun Club. Deno enjoyed hunting, traveling the US and visiting amusement parks, setting off fireworks on July 4th, swimming, watching old black & white movies, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Birch Scisciani, whom he married on September 9, 1978; one daughter, Kimberly Seybert and her husband Larry of Chicora, PA; two grand-daughters, Dena Brown and her husband Gordon of Butler, PA, and Christie Ulisky and her husband Bradley of Palm Springs, CA; three great-grandchildren, Colten Scisciani, Shane Brown, and Angelina McFarland all of Butler, PA; three brothers, David Scisciani of Oakdale, PA, Eugene Scisciani of Carnegie, PA, and Ronald Scisciani of Virginia Beach, VA; a special aunt, Angela Santivica of Carnegie, PA; two nieces; and one nephew .
Friends will be received Sunday, July 1, 2018, 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm at Thompson – Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA.
Additional visitation will be Monday, July 2, 2018, 10 – 11 am with a Funeral Service immediately following at 11 am at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home Inc., with Rev. Robert S. Edmundson, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Rd., Renfrew, PA 16053.
