Anyone interested in enjoying local nature is invited out to a free family event this weekend.
This Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania is hosting “Wings, Water, and Wildlife” at Buffalo Creek Nature Park in Sarver.
During the event, attendees will be able to engage in crafts, learn about fly fishing, and purchase art or handcrafted items. A local scout group will also be selling drinks and snacks.
Participants will also be able to meet conservation partners, join in a Tree ID workshop, and view an electro-fishing demonstration.
Even though admission is free, registration is requested online through the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania website.
