Many local authors will be attending a gathering planned for later this week in neighboring Allegheny County.
A Gathering of Authors on Thursday at 5 p.m. at Riverside Landing in Oakmont:
The event started out as a small group gathering and continues to grow with over 300 people attending last year.
12 authors are scheduled to speak at this free event that will also have free parking, coffee, cookies, live music, and a cash bar.
Anyone who enjoys literature and likes to read all different kinds of genres is invited to attend this event. The books discussed at this gathering will be available for sale.
