A local man passed away following a motorcycle crash that occurred in neighboring Armstrong County on Saturday afternoon.
According to our news partners at WPXI, 60-year-old Kenneth Shaffer of Butler was traveling on Route 422 near Glade Run Road in East Franklin Township when his motorcycle struck another vehicle.
Authorities say that their investigation into the crash is ongoing, but speed is believed to be a factor.
