Authorities are continuing to investigate a series of thefts that occurred last week in nearby Lawrence County.
According to State Police, multiple thefts from vehicles parked on Ellwood Road in Wayne Township were reported last week. Police believe that these thefts occurred between midnight and 6:30am on Tuesday (June 14th).
Authorities say that the unknown suspect or suspects stole items including, but not limited to: purses, wallets, money, lighters, and necklaces among other items. Officials say that the vehicles involved in these thefts were left unlocked.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the State Police in New Castle.
